Export Chart into a CSV file to Backtest

If you don’t have 2MOON Indicators in TradingView, take a look at  how to get them here

If you already have 2MOON Indicator in TradingView or (3rd party indicator) and want to backtest a strategy, read the instruction below.

Export Chart into a CSV file

  1. Open your  chart TradingView chart

  2. Open a calendar in the bottom part of the screen 

 

  1. Click on a date when you would like the Backtester to start running your strategy

2MOON Backtester goes back in time only up to 2 years to insure more accurate results

  1. Click Manage Layouts in the top part of the screen turn on ‘Sharing’ 

 

  1. Click ‘Export Chart Data’

  1. Choose ISO time and click Export
